How can You Avoid Unhealthy Snacking of Junk Food?

We all want to munch something in between meals. Healthy snacking is something that can prevent us from indulging in unnecessary junk food. This can lead to health issues, over a period of time. If you struggle with eating healthy, and looking for some delicious recipes to snack on, check out these:

  • Healthy Bagel Toasts

To make the guacamole, add some ripe avocados, lime juice, salt, pepper, red onions, and coriander in a bowl. Mix it with a fork. Toast some bagels and add sliced tomatoes, rocket leaves. Top it with some guacamole. Sprinkle some freshly crushed pepper. This bagel sandwich is healthy and delish.

  • Hazelnut Rice Cakes

Rice cakes make for delicious sweet and savory snacks. Spread some chocolate hazelnut spread on the rice cakes. Top with some banana, cocoa nibs, and chia seeds.

  • Nutritious Rice & Veggie Bowl

Roast some zucchini, bell peppers, with a touch of olive oil. To make the sauce, mix honey, tahini paste, salt, soy sauce, lemon juice, miso paste, chili flakes, and pepper. To assemble the bowl, add cooked best quality basmati rice, a handful of veggies, crispy baked tofu, edamame beans and drizzle the sauce.

  • Lemon & Garlic Hummus

In a food processor, add boiled chickpeas, tahini, roasted garlic, salt, pepper, mint, lemon juice, and olive oil. Drizzle a bit of olive oil and sumac before serving. The best way to snack on hummus is with vegetable sticks like carrot, celery and blanched French beans.

  • Crispy Zucchini Fritters

Mix some grated zucchini, salt, pepper, ground garlic, thyme, basil, flour, parmesan cheese. Scoop the batter and shallow fry in olive oil until golden brown. Serve these crispy fritters with a Greek yogurt dip.

  • Guacamole with Veggie Chips

To make the chunky guacamole dip, mix chopped avocado, coriander, salt, pepper, lemon juice, onion, tomato. Mix all the ingredients with a fork. To make hummus dip, mix hummus with pesto paste and top with pomegranates and mint. Bake some sweet potato chips with a touch of olive oil, and paprika. You can also make it with beetroot. Season with salt and pepper while it is hot. Serve these delicious dips with a side of chips to dunk into it.
